Wabi Sabi

Aug. 1st 2023

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese word that loosely defined means beautifully flawed.

An often used example is a porcelain vase that is repaired with gold thus the flaw enhances the beauty of the original.

This chair like all my upcycled projects is inherently flawed and as the stitches tear it will become more so... flaws that I hope will be mended in a way as to embrace the repair over hiding it.
